Refugee Resettlement
Catholic Charities assists refugees in starting a new life in the United States. The program has many functions, such as finding and furnishing a home for the refugees, picking them up at the airport, and coordinating initial medical and mental health care visits.
Each year, Catholic Charities serves hundreds of refugees in Phoenix. If you would like to donate gently used or new kitchenware, linens and bedding, home furnishings or personal hygiene items, please contact Calla Floyd, refugee resource coordinator at (602) 997-6105 ext. 51045 or via email at cfloyd@cc-az.org. Your donations and gifts are greatly appreciated.
Refugee Adjustment Services
Catholic Charities provides services that help refugees make the adjustment to a new home, such as job development, interpretation, English language instruction, school.
Strengthening Refugee Families
The refugee resettlement program conducts classes that help strengthen refugee families as they adjust to a new culture with different customs, behaviors, and gender expectations that may cause conflict.
