Our caring staff help guide our newest community members towards social and economic independence. 

We find safe and affordable housing and furnish the new home through community donations. All basic necessities are provided for home and personal care, including furnishings, linens, house wares, cleaning supplies, and toiletries. The family is welcomed to their first home in America with a culturally appropriate warm meal and freshly made beds.

We help them apply for social security cards, enroll the children in school, find employment and assist males aged 18-25 in registering for the draft.

We teach life skills including budgeting and finance, use of public transportation, tenant and employment relations and ESL classes. We link refugees to community resources and volunteers who specialize in tutoring, mentoring, etc.
