DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide intensive counseling and support in the home or other locations where necessary to families referred by CPS.
• Assess the family’s perception of the problem and review with CPS workers any relevant client information.
• Implement the treatment plan by providing intensive in-home services according to the treatment plan goals and objective.
• Participate in supervisory meetings with IHFSS Clinical Supervisor and prepare monthly progress reviews, participate in monthly case staffings and other reviews.
• Prepare case files for each client.
• Facilitate and/or participate in community education and information programs as needed.
• Review all case records with assigned IHFSS Supervisor every ninety days or more often as needed.
• Perform any other job related task as deemed appropriate or helpful to the smooth operation of the program, and/or assigned by the IHFSS Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• Schedule includes some weekend and evening hours.
• Must have knowledge of human behavior and problems; counseling and social work theories and techniques; community resources; DES regulations.
• Must be capable of working with people in a variety of situations under various levels of stress associated with having a wide range of human problems.
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related human service area required; capable of certification required.
• Minimum of one year’s social service/counseling experience.
• Must be able to be licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is strongly preferred.
• Must have valid Arizona Driver License, AZ registration, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to obtain fingerprint clearance.

SALARY: Grade 13 position. $36,296 to $43,735, depending on experience.
